It appears as a silver-gray, pliable rare metal with high resistance to heat, corrosion, impressive electrical conductivity, and finds extensive applications in aerospace, super conducting materials, and various other industries.

Niobium Oxide Lithium niobate is used in acoustic filters, camera lenses, computer screens, ceramic capacitors. High refractive index, high dielectric constant, increased light transmission.
Niobium Carbide Cutting tools. Easily molded at high temperatures to avoid texturing.
Niobium powder Niobium capacitors in circuit boards. High dielectric constant, stabilizes oxide media.
